Mount Pleasant Waterfront
The Old Village, I'On and the harbor-front streets across the Ravenel, where the town record stands at $14,950,000.
Mount Pleasant's luxury market is a thin ribbon along the water: the Old Village, I'On, Olde Park, the Hobcaw creeks and the harbor-front streets that look back at the peninsula across the Cooper. The rest of the town is large and suburban; the waterfront is small, old and expensive.
The Old Village is the original town, listed on the National Register in 1973 and protected by its own historic district commission. Its harbor bluff produced the town's two highest sales: 100 Haddrell Street at $14,950,000 in April 2023 and 202 Bank Street at $14,000,000 in August 2025, the latter to a New York buyer. I'On, founded in 1995 and designed by Dover, Kohl and DPZ as one of the country's early New Urbanist neighborhoods, reaches toward $5,000,000 on its best lake and creek lots.
Lower Mount Pleasant as a whole closed 617 sales in 2025 at a median of $1,200,000 in 37 days, which understates the top. A buyer who wants a dock, a view of the Ravenel and a ten-minute drive to Broad Street is competing for a few dozen houses a year.

Mount Pleasant Waterfront, answered.
What is the most expensive home sold in Mount Pleasant?
100 Haddrell Street in the Old Village, at $14,950,000 in April 2023. The second-highest is 202 Bank Street, 6,740 square feet on the harbor bluff, which sold for $14,000,000 in August 2025 to a New York buyer.
Is the Old Village a historic district?
Yes. The Mount Pleasant Historic District, known as the Old Village, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1973, and the town created the Old Village Historic District Commission to review exterior changes. Buyers planning a renovation should read the commission's guidelines before they buy.
How is Damian Hall Group different from other Mount Pleasant agents?
The waterfront tier of Mount Pleasant is bought by households relocating from the Northeast and the Midwest, and DHG already reaches them through Southern Escapes and the Christie's network. Add an in-house film studio and a Charleston native who started here in 2007, and a harbor-front listing gets a national audience on launch day.
